Duong Lam Ancient Village is located about 60 kilometers to the west of Hanoi. This village has a long-lasting history of about 1,200 years. This is the hometown of two Vietnamese Kings, Phung Hung (761-802) and Ngo Quyen (896-944).

So, this village is considered as the origin of Vietnam culture and also Vietnam's tradition. The most interesting feature of the village is old houses that made of laterite and mud, dating back up to 400 years. This is also the location of the temples dedicated to the two kings born here, Mong Phu temple and Mia Pagoda.

AM: Pick up at your hotel at 8:00 am. Leave central Hanoi and transfer to Duong Lam village. Visit Mong Phu temple in the same name hamlet. Continue the journey to discover the daily life and farming work of local residents. Then, visit two ancient houses in Duong Lam village near Hanoi. The first one is the biggest ancient house built 200 years ago. And the next is the most ancient house which is over 400 years old.
Relax and have lunch.

PM: Visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, where are places for worship two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. Continuously your visit, tourists will reach to Mia Pagoda. The pagoda was built in the 15th century. It consists of 287 statues of all sizes including famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities.
